Human Trafficking Awareness Meeting - March 26 from 2-4 PM
Join us for an important training about human trafficking. This class is ideal for professionals in social work, law enforcement, NGOs, healthcare, education; anyone who wants to learn to recognize the signs of human trafficking in the workplace or community and what to do in response. Class will cover who is at risk, how to identify victims/possible victims, prevention and awareness, as well as aftercare services.
Training will be held at the Smith Training Center at Texoma Family Shelter, 317 W. Morton Street in Denison.
About the Trainers: A21 is an international counter-trafficking organization that serves as the Commercially Sexually Exploited Youth (CSEY) advocacy provider in Cooke, Fannin, and Grayson counties. They provide 24/7 crisis response, long-term advocacy, and case management for children and youth who have experienced or are at high risk for commercial sexual exploitation.
